Darlene
Chaleff has had a 25+ year commitment to serving on
the Board of Directors of Jobs For Youth, chairing
fundraisers and being an all-around champion for the
youth of Chicago we serve. Now, it's the City of Chicago's
turn to recognize all the wonderful work she has done
at JFY. Darlene will be one of the women honored at
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County and
Chase Bank's 2011 Women History Month honorees, where
they will be honoring Outstanding Women in Nonprofits
next Wednesday, March 23rd.
The esteemed list of honorees are being recognized
as outstanding leaders in their community. And the
award couldn't go to a more deserving woman. Darlene,
we are incredibly grateful for all the work you have
done and continue to do for our youth. Your commitment
and dedication to the mission has allowed us to sustain
turbulent years and raise our profile as one of the
nation's leaders in youth employment. Thank you for
all you do. We are so very fortunate to have you as
a backbone of our organization.
