Clear Channel Exec Joins Fight
to Help Chicago’s Youth Find Jobs

Joins Jobs For Youth/Chicago Board
CHICAGO, IL.
(April 8, 2008) –Jobs For Youth/Chicago (JFY) made a
lasting impact on Clear Channel Radio Chicago’s Vice President,
Communications Angela T. Ingram. She recently joined the
Board of Directors of JFY.
"I am honored to serve the young men
and women who come through the doors of Jobs For Youth/Chicago,"
said Ingram. "This is a top-flight non-profit organization
that is committed to developing our young people to become
viable members of the workforce in the Chicago community."
Jobs For Youth is a program that assists
young men and women from low-income families become a part
of the economic mainstream; and, in the process, provides
the business community with motivated, job-ready workers.
JFY offers pre-employment training, GED preparation and
job placement services to youth that are between the ages
of 17 and 24. Established in 1979, JFY has made over 25,000
job placement to help Chicago’s deserving youth enter the
workforce.

Ingram, along with Clerk of the Cook County
Circuit Court Dorothy Brown, is also Honorary Chair of Jobs
For Youth’s annual fundraiser Jazz For Youth on May 3, 2008
at the Park West. Actress Kim Coles will emcee. Over 400
people attend the fundraiser with live entertainment by
"My Way" JIMMY DAMON sings SINATRA! with
the Bill Porter Orchestra, the only singer
authorized by FRANK SINATRA to sing his songs.
The KCR Ensemble also performs, and the evening is rounded
out by casino gaming, a live and silent auction, a lavish
buffet supper and open bar. Celebrity dealers are Actor
Harry Lennix and Chicago’s Defender’s "Chat Daddy"
Art Sims.

Ingram’s broadcast career spans more than
25 years of management and spearheading the development
and implementation of internal and external marketing initiatives
for some of Clear Channel's top-rated radio stations across
the country.
Today, she oversees internal and external
communications; compliance; issues and crisis management;
community partnerships; relationship and charitable support
management; public relations; media strategy development;
serves as primary media spokesperson and media liaison for
Clear Channel’s six-station, multi-formatted radio station
cluster in Chicago, IL.
Mostly recently, Chicago Mayor Richard
M. Daley and the Chicago Commission on Human Relations Advisory
Council on Women presented Ingram with the 2008 SAGE AWARD.
She was recognized for her leadership and excellence in
advancing the status of women in the broadcast industry
and Chicago communities.
Ingram was named "Executive of the
Year" by the National Association of Black Female Executives
in Music and Entertainment and one of "The 35 Most
Influential African-Americans in Radio" by Radio Ink
Magazine.
Ingram is the Co-Chair of the Clear Channel
Radio Chicago Advisory Board; a member of the Clear Channel
